We are looking for a skilled SEO professional with a proven track record of driving organic traffic, improving search rankings, and enhancing brand visibility across search engines, including AI-driven platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take the next step in an SEO career, working closely with the Head of SEO to strengthen the online presence of two growing adventure travel brands within a globally recognized responsible travel company.

The role will develop and execute the SEO strategy for Urban Adventures and Wildland Trekking, ensuring alignment with Intrepid Travel’s broader objectives. It will focus on improving and maintaining organic search rankings, increasing visibility, and driving traffic. Key responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing website performance to enhance technical SEO, on-page content, and user experience. Regular performance reporting, along with providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders, will be essential. The role will also lead SEO projects that directly impact organic growth, such as site enhancements, content initiatives, and backlink strategies. Additionally, it will involve developing content strategies that prioritize user experience and optimize the customer journey across both websites.

This is a full-time, 8-month contract position based on-site at our Toronto, Ontario office, with the possibility of extension.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

​

• 2+ years' experience in SEO specialist or SEO-related role/s 
• Demonstrated expert knowledge in technical, on-page & off-page SEO elements 
• Content writing proficiency is preferred, though not essential 
• Experience working in-house 
• High level proficiency in working with various CMS 
• Strong time management skills with a proven ability to deliver on objectives, a collaborative approach to working with global teams, and strong attention to detail. 

You have extensive SEO experience and a strong grasp of current and past trends across various markets. You’re comfortable working across technical, on-page, and off-page SEO. Content writing is a key strength, and experience with multi-lingual or multi-national websites is a plus. While not essential, knowledge of paid SEM would be an advantage. You’re highly organized, manage your time effectively, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
