What You’ll Do

​

• Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint environments (on-premises and cloud), ensuring they empower efficient teamwork and secure information sharing.
• Collaborate with IT, end users, and stakeholders to design and deliver impactful SharePoint solutions that streamline processes and drive productivity.
• Develop, automate, and optimize workflows and business processes using SharePoint Designer and no-code tools.
• Manage user permissions, access controls, and content organization to foster secure and effective collaboration.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint, IIS, SQL Server integration, and Web Page functionality.
• Monitor system performance, address bottlenecks, and implement improvements for reliability and speed.
• Enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery protocols within the SharePoint environment.
• Oversee regular updates, patches, backups, and upgrades to ensure platform stability and business continuity.
• Integrate modern web and marketing technologies (such as XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PowerShell scripting) to further enhance user experience and security.

What We’re Looking For

​

• Strong expertise in SharePoint administration, including architecture, configuration, and upgrade management (on-premises and Microsoft 365/Cloud).
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation for SharePoint, as well as IIS and SQL Server (2016/2019 high availability clustering).
• Experience supporting users, resolving technical questions, and championing a collaborative, remote creative work environment.
• Solid understanding of web technologies—HTML, CSS, JavaScript—and their application in optimizing SharePoint and no-code solutions.
• Knowledge of security best practices, compliance requirements, encryption, and firewalls.
• Hands-on workflow design and process automation experience, preferably with SharePoint Designer or similar no-code automation platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

​

• 8–10 years’ experience with a BS/BA, 6–8 years with an MS/MA, or 3–5 years with a PhD.
• Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified (Fundamentals, Enterprise Administrator Expert), Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Server, or equivalent (MCITP, MCSE, MCSD, MCSM).

Compensation

​

• $120,000 – $170,000 (based on experience and qualifications; Maryland area)
