Web Designer At Growth Media North America, Inc / Kinetica Print

Growth Media North America, Inc a growing Design and Print company seeking a skilled web designer to join our team and play a dual role on our team splitting work between Web Design and Pre Press production to help support our print operations. Skills in Web Design and having a creative eye is the priority. Pre Press skills can be trained on the job for the right individual who is ready to learn and grow their skillset.

Expectations for Web Development

• Create site layout/user interface.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Cooperate with graphic designers to match visual design intent.
• Understanding of maintaining web and security updates

Expectations for Design

• Experience in web design and front-end development
• Understand the vision, components and needs of a new website.
• Working knowledge of SEO, Social Media, E-Commerce integration.
• Familiarity with best practices for creating style guides.
• Strong graphic design skills, and ability to create visual assets.

Requirements:

• Willingness to learn and perform Pre Press duties for Print Services
• Skills with Pre Press is an asset, but not required
• 2+ Years of Web Design Experience
• Experience with Wordpress and Shopify Platforms
• Experience with HTML5/CSS3 and responsive web design
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent Communication Skills for written and verbal communication
• Strong Organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.
• Ability to maintain consistency and adhere to style guides and brand standards.

Extended medical, health, life plan after 90 days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$31.10 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
