We are seeking a Web Specialist to join the team at Alberta Boot Company, one of Avenue Living's private equity companies. About The Role:

• Design visually intuitive, engaging user-friendly interfaces for websites and web applications.
• Enhance user interfaces based on research into customer behavior and preferences.
• Apply on-page SEO best practices by optimizing meta tags (title tags, meta descriptions), header tags, image alt texts, and URL structures.
• Conduct keyword research to identify high-value keywords and incorporate them into the content strategy.
• Oversee and implement website content related to products, promotions, and campaigns, aligning with marketing initiatives.
• Optimize and refresh blog posts and web pages to improve SEO performance.
• Update landing pages and product setups in line with marketing initiatives and promotions.
• Utilize tools such as Google Analytics to track key UI/UX and SEO metrics.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience as a Web Specialist
• Proficient in using Shopify for e-commerce management.
• Experienced with web analytics tools, including Google Analytics.
• Skilled in Microsoft 365 Suite.
• Familiar with key web analytics metrics and how to interpret them.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of A/B testing and other UX research methods is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
