About the Role
We're looking for a Digital Marketing Lead to be our first in this role, owning how we show up online and distribute ideas at scale. Based in Palo Alto, CA, you'll build, launch, and optimize digital experiences across web, social, email, and paid channels with a deep focus on community engagement and growth. This is a full-time, mid-senior level position perfect for someone who is equally comfortable shipping a blog post, running paid campaigns, analyzing performance, and engaging directly with our technical audience. You'll be a hands-on marketer who balances strategic thinking with a bias toward shipping and execution.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day management and growth of social channels (X, LinkedIn, and others), including paid media campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, X, and additional platforms
- Write, publish, and optimize social posts that drive reach, engagement, and credibility; actively engage with the community through replies, comments, DMs, and conversations
- Identify and capitalize on timely moments, conversations, and trends while managing social calendar with flexibility for real-time opportunities
- Own newsletter strategy and execution, writing and building emails that are clear, compelling, and on-brand
- Own website updates and blog publishing using CMS platforms; ensure blog posts and landing pages are cleanly formatted, performant, and aligned with brand standards
- Maintain site hygiene including QA, responsiveness, and SEO/AEO best practices (metadata, structure, internal linking)
- Partner with design to improve UX and conversion across digital touchpoints
- Own digital performance tracking across web, social, email, and paid; build dashboards and surface actionable insights to inform strategy
Requirements
- 5–7+ years in digital marketing, growth, or content distribution roles
- Strong track record of owning and growing social and email channels
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, or Contentful
- Hands-on experience with paid media campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, X, Meta)
- Deep familiarity with analytics and performance tracking (GA4, Looker, Mixpanel, and native platform analytics)
- Strong writing instincts across formats: social, email, and web content
- High agency and a bias toward shipping with excellent organizational and project management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with SEO/AEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console
- Familiarity with email platforms like HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Customer.io
- Experience with social scheduling tools such as Hypefury, Sprout, or Buffer
- Proficiency with collaboration tools like Figma, Notion, and Slack
