About the Role
Minerva University is hiring a Graphic Designer & Web Manager to lead visual communications and web presence across the institution. This is a hands-on, versatile role perfect for a designer who thrives wearing multiple hats—from creating polished print materials to building and optimizing pages in Webflow, editing video content, and stewarding the university's brand identity. Based remotely in the US and reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing, Communications & Engagement, you'll work across Marketing & Communications and departments university-wide to translate ideas into effective, on-brand creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality print and digital materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, event collateral, signage, and institutional assets while ensuring consistent brand application
- Manage the Minerva University website using Webflow, including building and updating webpages, page components, and design systems to enhance usability and user experience
- Fulfill creative requests from departments across the university, managing multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
- Serve as a steward of Minerva's visual identity, reviewing creative materials and providing guidance to ensure appropriate brand standards are applied across all university communications
- Edit short-form and promotional video content for digital campaigns, social media, the website, and events, incorporating graphics, titles, captions, and other multimedia elements
- Create and maintain reusable templates, brand assets, and creative resources that enable teams across the university to produce consistent, on-brand materials
- Optimize images, video, and other digital assets for web performance, accessibility, and SEO; support ongoing website quality assurance and identification of improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the Social Media Manager, stakeholders, and external creative partners to ensure all work meets Minerva's brand and quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in print design, digital design, and branding
- Demonstrated expertise in Webflow or equivalent web design and content management platforms, with the ability to build and update webpages and page components
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing tools
- Strong understanding of web design principles, user experience (UX), accessibility standards, and SEO best practices
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to translate stakeholder feedback and organizational needs into effective visual solutions while maintaining brand consistency
- Demonstrated experience with video editing and multimedia content creation for digital platforms
Benefits & Perks
- Competitive salary: $85,000–$90,000/year
