About the Role

Join smartdept. as a Junior Web Designer for a part-time, fully remote contract opportunity focused on website migration and redesign. You'll work on an exciting project helping a client transition to Webflow or Framer, creating visually compelling and user-friendly websites. This is an ideal role for a designer with 3-5 years of experience who wants to deepen their expertise in modern web design platforms while working collaboratively with a talented team.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop websites that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies using web design elements
• Manage the website development process from start to finish, ensuring seamless project delivery
• Work with the web development team to ensure websites are built according to specifications
• Track and measure website performance and analytics to inform design decisions
• Provide feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of web design strategies
• Stay current with the latest web design trends and technologies, including Webflow and Framer capabilities

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in web design and development
• Strong understanding of web design principles and best practices
