About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Marketing Manager and Web Development leader to manage and mentor our team of mid- to senior-level developers as we scale rapidly. In this practice-facing role, you'll drive strategy, execution, and technical excellence across all web properties while helping practices understand our approach to web development. This position offers the unique opportunity to lead a globally-dispersed team of developers while managing complex Webflow and WordPress projects, with a strong preference for candidates based in or near Chicago, Illinois, where our future HQ will be located. Responsibilities

• Define web development roadmap aligned with business objectives and evaluate new tools, platforms, and technologies
• Build and maintain pixel-perfect Webflow sites, execute complex website migrations with minimal downtime, and ensure site performance, SEO optimization, and accessibility standards
• Lead, mentor, and delegate tasks to junior and mid-level developers; provide code reviews, feedback, and conduct regular 1:1s across time zones
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from kickoff to launch, create detailed project plans with timelines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Create and deploy automations using Zapier, Make, custom scripts, and API integrations to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
• Monitor site performance, user experience metrics, and enforce QA processes before deployment
• Foster a collaborative, learning-oriented team culture while removing blockers and providing technical guidance
• Communicate status updates to leadership and stakeholders, and confidently present information to practices

Requirements

• 8+ years of web development experience with 4+ years in a management or leadership role
• Expert-level proficiency in Webflow and WordPress development and administration with a portfolio showcasing your work
• Extensive experience with complex website migrations (platform migrations, domain transfers, content restructuring) and managing 20+ websites
• Proven ability to build and implement automations using Zapier, Make, custom scripts, and API integrations
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and strong command of web design principles, UX/UI best practices, and SEO fundamentals
• Demonstrated success leading and mentoring developers with experience managing remote, globally-dispersed teams across time zones
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• At least 5 years of experience with Figma, Webflow, and WordPress
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience resolving SEO-related issues identified by automated website auditing

• Extensive agency setting experience
• Background in the healthcare or elective medicine industry
