About the Role

DataAnnotation is seeking a talented Mobile UI Designer to help train and improve AI models that understand design principles. As a Mobile UI Designer, you'll assess and enhance how AI systems interpret and generate interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences. This is a remote, flexible position perfect for designers who want to contribute to the next generation of AI tools while maintaining control over their schedule and project selection.

Responsibilities

• Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals for quality and performance
• Evaluate AI model outputs for correctness, aesthetic quality, and usability standards
• Provide detailed feedback to help train models to better understand visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user-centered design principles
• Contribute to design-specific projects focused on UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation
• Help refine the model's sense of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality through expert assessment

Requirements

• Fluency in English at a native or bilingual level
• Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
• Must be located in the United States
• Ability to work as an independent contractor (payment via PayPal)

• Current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor's degree
