About the Role

DataAnnotation is seeking a talented Mobile UI Designer to join their growing team in California as a remote contractor. In this role, you'll use your design expertise to evaluate AI-generated outputs, provide detailed feedback, and help refine AI models' understanding of visual design principles, usability, and creative quality. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how the next generation of AI tools supports designers worldwide, whether you're working full-time or part-time on your own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals for quality and performance
• Evaluate how well AI models understand correctness, aesthetics, and user-centered design principles
• Provide detailed feedback on design-focused projects including UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation
• Help train AI models to better understand visual hierarchy, interaction design, and creative quality
• Assess and enhance how AI systems understand interfaces, layouts, and user experiences

Requirements

• Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
• Fluency in English at a native or bilingual level
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
• Based in the United States (required for this position)
• Ability to work as an independent contractor and receive payment via PayPal

• Bachelor's degree (current, in progress, or completed)
