About the Role

As a Product Designer at VOLT AI in Bethesda, MD, you'll lead design across web and mobile platforms, owning the complete design lifecycle from research and strategy through high-fidelity execution. This is a mid-senior level, full-time position perfect for an experienced designer who can drive intuitive, user-centered experiences while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams. You'll also have the exciting opportunity to design and build the company website in Webflow, creating custom components, interactive blocks, and smooth animations to showcase product value and elevate brand presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full design lifecycle across web and mobile platforms—from user research and strategy through high-fidelity execution and iteration
• Design intuitive, interactive data visualizations including dashboards, charts, and reports for SaaS and enterprise tools
• Create and maintain a scalable design system with reusable components, typography, UI patterns, and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and speed across the product
• Design and build the company website in Webflow with custom components, interactive blocks, and animations to showcase product value
• Develop structured prototypes and feature hypotheses based on research to accelerate UX velocity
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to produce assets for go-to-market efforts, sales enablement, and customer onboarding
• Support marketing initiatives including brand awareness, email campaigns, social media management, and sales enablement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Systems Programming, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in web/digital interface design or a related design role, with demonstrated design leadership for SaaS platforms and enterprise tools
• Advanced expertise in Figma and proficiency with visual tools, prototyping platforms, and CMS frameworks (e.g., Webflow, HubSpot)
• Advanced understanding of web technologies, interface development, and design systems
• Ability to design responsive experiences that properly adapt across devices and support fundamental technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with collaboration and analytics tools such as GitHub, Trello, and Clarity
• Background in marketing, print and graphic design, video production, email campaigns, and social media management
