About the Role
HoneyBook is seeking an experienced Remote Webflow Developer to support the build, optimization, and integration of our marketing website on a contract basis. Over a 6-month engagement, you'll deliver project-based Webflow enhancements, implement performance improvements, and integrate third-party tools and analytics solutions. This role is perfect for a skilled Webflow developer who thrives on autonomous, high-impact work and can collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agencies.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy new landing pages, campaign modules, and CRO test variants within Webflow with fully functional designs and staging review links
- Provide custom technical enhancements including JavaScript code modules for interactivity, personalization, event logging, and edge case handling
- Integrate and validate analytics instrumentation for platforms such as Mixpanel and Google Analytics, with verification reports confirming accuracy
- Conduct performance audits and optimization, refactoring existing code, improving page speed, and resolving tracking and performance issues
- Define and document Webflow development workflows, best practices, version control guidelines, and review checkpoints for in-house teams and external agencies
- Configure and integrate third-party tools including Google One Tap, cookie consent modules, analytics scripts, and chat integrations
- Provide feasibility assessments and performance recommendations for new web feature requests
- Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives by implementing test variants and providing guidance on infrastructure and iterative improvements
Requirements
- Proven expertise in front-end development for marketing websites with advanced proficiency in Webflow and custom code implementation
- Demonstrated ability to create scalable, high-performance landing pages with attention to maintainability and conversion optimization
- Experience integrating and configuring third-party tools and implementing client-side scripting for marketing or growth initiatives
- Knowledge of performance optimization, SEO best practices, and structured QA processes
- Proven ability to collaborate with marketing, design, and other stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective Webflow implementations
- Portfolio of landing pages built within Webflow with project dates demonstrating your experience level
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with tools such as Segment, Mixpanel/GA4, and Datadog
- Location in Pacific time zone, preferably San Francisco Bay Area, for occasional onsite collaboration
