About the Role

Homebase is seeking a Senior Marketing Web Developer to own the performance, quality, and growth of their website—built on Webflow and one of the company's most important customer acquisition channels. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract role based in San Francisco, CA, perfect for an expert who thrives on diving into complex problems independently, auditing setups, diagnosing issues, and driving fixes without needing direction. You'll be highly autonomous, cross-functional, and customer-focused, moving fast and owning outcomes end-to-end across all web development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own technical quality across joinhomebase.com, ensuring Core Web Vitals and optimal site performance
• Diagnose and resolve performance regressions across LCP, INP, and CLS on mobile and desktop
• Build and launch high-converting landing pages for paid, SEO, and campaign initiatives
• Create scalable templates and reusable components that accelerate Marketing velocity
• Design and implement A/B tests across landing pages, messaging, and conversion flows using experimentation tools
• Improve the website-to-signup journey and reduce friction throughout onboarding
• Collaborate with Design and Organic teams to continuously improve SEO/AEO health
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, improve quality, and automate workflows

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of professional web development experience
• Deep, hands-on Webflow expertise including CMS architecture, custom code integration, and performance optimization
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills
• Proven experience with experimentation, analytics, and conversion optimization
• Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO
• Experience integrating websites with product onboarding, analytics, and marketing systems
• AI fluency and comfort using AI tools to accelerate development and improve workflows

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with tools like Amplitude, Statsig, or Hotjar
• Experience with experimentation tooling integration in Webflow
