Senior Marketing Web Developer - Webflow & Growth Tech

Alder

Full-timeQuincy, Massachusetts, USWebflow Developer

Job Description

About the Company

Alder has been a trusted guide for more than 5,000 families across Greater Boston for over 30 years, helping them navigate the aging journey with compassion, clarity, and expert care. The company employs seasoned social workers and nurses who provide strategic direction and hands-on support, from coordinating medical care to facilitating meaningful family conversations. Deeply rooted in the community, Alder leverages a broad professional network to connect families with trusted resources and foster collaboration across disciplines.

About the Role

As a Senior Marketing Web Developer at Alder, you'll be the technical owner of the marketing website and the systems that connect it to the broader business. This is a dynamic role that spans everything from shipping new landing pages in Webflow to orchestrating HubSpot workflows and instrumenting analytics that drive real business decisions. You'll partner closely with marketing and design teams to build conversion-focused experiences while managing a modern marketing technology stack. This role is perfect for a growth-minded Webflow developer who understands how technical decisions impact business metrics—and wants to work for a mission-driven organization making a difference in older adults' lives.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day development, maintenance, and evolution of the Alder marketing site in Webflow, including CMS configuration, structured content, components, and design system.
  • Build and ship new landing pages, campaign microsites, and content templates in partnership with marketing and design teams.
  • Implement and maintain the marketing technology stack: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot (forms, workflows, lifecycle stages), and on-site chat/booking tools.
  • Set up and maintain event tracking and conversion goals to enable data-driven decision making across the organization.
  • Integrate the marketing site with downstream systems—HubSpot CRM, internal products, and third-party tools—using webhooks and APIs.
  • Run on-page A/B tests and conversion experiments; partner with the growth team on hypotheses and post-test analysis.
  • Handle technical SEO optimization: site structure, schema markup, page speed, Core Web Vitals, sitemap and canonical hygiene.
  • Set up and manage on-site chatbots and conversational tools (Intercom, HubSpot Chat, or similar) including routing logic and handoff protocols.
  • Ensure the site remains fast, accessible (WCAG AA), and on-brand across all updates and iterations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience building and maintaining marketing websites.
  • Strong Webflow proficiency with a track record of shipping non-trivial sites, using the CMS for structured content, and knowing when to use custom code versus the visual builder.
  • Hands-on experience with the growth and marketing technology stack: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and at least one major marketing automation platform (HubSpot strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience setting up and instrumenting conversion tracking, A/B tests, and analytics dashboards—not just installing scripts, but understanding what to measure and why.
  • Experience with at least one chatbot or conversational platform (Drift, Intercom, HubSpot Chat, Zendesk, or similar).
  • Comfort with APIs, webhooks, and basic integrations between marketing tools and business systems.
  • A growth mindset with genuine care about conversion rates, funnel metrics, and what actually moves the business forward.
  • Clear written communication skills; ability to explain technical tradeoffs to marketers and brand considerations to engineers.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with the React ecosystem (Next.js, Gatsby, or similar).
  • Familiarity with one or more headless CMSs (Contentful, Sanity, Strapi) in addition to Webflow CMS.
  • SEO expertise beyond technical basics—keyword research, content strategy collaboration, and schema strategy.

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive compensation ($135,000–$160,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications)
  • Flexible work schedules and hybrid work opportunities
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Professional development support and continuing education reimbursement
  • Collaborative, inclusive culture focused on employee well-being and growth
