About the Role
Better U is seeking a Senior Webflow Developer to own the ongoing maintenance, optimization, and evolution of their marketing websites. This is a long-term partnership role requiring technical excellence, SEO rigor, and exceptional UI sensibility. You'll work independently on high-performance Webflow sites with complex CMS integrations, custom code enhancements, advanced interactions, and 3D elements—perfect for someone who takes pride in clean architecture, performance, and elegant user experiences. This is a remote position ideal for a Webflow specialist ready to impact a mission-driven healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize high-performance Webflow websites with pixel-perfect responsiveness across devices and browsers
- Architect and manage complex Webflow CMS collections, implement custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript enhancements, and maintain clean, scalable structure for rapid iteration
- Design and implement SEO-first architecture, including site structure, clean markup, page speed optimization, and Core Web Vitals compliance
- Design and integrate interactive 3D elements using Spline, embedding and optimizing scenes within Webflow while maintaining performance discipline
- Proactively identify and resolve performance, UX, and technical issues; QA all updates prior to deployment
- Partner with internal stakeholders to translate concepts into polished execution and provide ongoing technical support as the platform evolves
- Create premium, conversion-focused interfaces with intentional hierarchy, spacing, typography, motion, and clarity tailored for high-trust, healthcare audiences
Requirements
- Proven senior-level experience building and maintaining production Webflow sites with portfolio examples
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Webflow CMS architecture
- Demonstrated expertise with SEO-aware development practices and technical SEO best practices
- Experience integrating 3D or advanced interactive elements, with Spline proficiency preferred
- Deep understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and UX best practices
- Ability to work autonomously, communicate clearly, meet deadlines consistently, and maintain meticulous attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience designing scalable, modular Webflow systems
- Familiarity with CRO testing, analytics, and performance monitoring
- Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with other CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
