Senior Webflow Developer

PAYNOTE

Job Description

About the Company

PAYNOTE is seeking a talented Senior Webflow Developer to elevate their web presence and refine their digital product. The company values craftsmanship, attention to detail, and collaborative partnership in building polished, performant web experiences.

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Webflow Developer to join PAYNOTE's team in a remote position based in Colombia. You'll take our existing Webflow site and elevate it to a new standard—optimizing design details, improving responsiveness, refining interactions, and ensuring exceptional performance across all devices. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who treats Webflow as a craft, brings a genuine eye for design, and thrives in close collaboration with a small, dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Audit the current Webflow site to identify design, layout, and UX issues across desktop and mobile breakpoints
  • Clean up and optimize existing Webflow structure, including classes, styles, components, and CMS collections to reduce bloat and inconsistency
  • Refine visual design details—spacing, typography, alignment, and hierarchy—to a polished, professional standard
  • Build and improve responsive layouts that work cleanly across all breakpoints, not just technically responsive
  • Design and implement intentional interactions and micro-animations using Webflow's native interaction tools
  • Optimize page speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals through image handling, asset loading, and clean code output
  • Fix cross-browser and cross-device inconsistencies to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized Webflow project with consistent naming conventions, reusable components, and style guide discipline for long-term maintainability
  • Work directly and iteratively with the design team in ongoing collaboration rather than one-off handoffs

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Webflow experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual design sense and polished, functional builds
  • Deep fluency in Webflow's design and interaction systems, including classes and combo classes, CMS, interactions, and responsive breakpoints
  • Strong attention to detail—noticing 2px misalignments, awkward line breaks, and subtle design inconsistencies without prompting
  • Solid understanding of responsive design principles and best practices beyond Webflow's default breakpoints
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom code embeds when native Webflow tools aren't sufficient
  • Experience optimizing page speed and Core Web Vitals
  • Professional English communication skills (written and spoken) for regular calls and async team communication
  • Comfort working independently and translating ambiguous feedback into concrete design and development decisions
  • Based in Colombia with the ability to maintain substantially overlapping working hours with US Eastern/Central time zones

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Figma-to-Webflow design handoffs
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals as they apply to Webflow builds
  • Experience building Webflow e-commerce or CMS-heavy projects
  • Prior experience working directly with founders or small teams in fast-paced, iterative environments

Benefits & Perks

  • Full-time remote position based in Colombia
  • Competitive compensation of approximately $25,000 USD/year, commensurate with experience
