About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Webflow Front-end Developer to lead our Webflow engineering team in Chattanooga, TN (Remote available). In this full-time position, you'll mentor junior developers, champion best practices, and build exceptional digital experiences in Webflow. This role is ideal for an experienced front-end developer who thrives in a collaborative agency environment and wants to take on technical leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Build fully functional Webflow websites from Figma designs and extend the functionality of existing sites
• Integrate JavaScript libraries (Finsweet Attributes, SwiperJS, GSAP, Alpine, etc.) and write custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery code to add features and functionality
• Build and document complex CMS structures in Webflow that are client-friendly and easy to maintain and edit
• Champion team best practices including asset organization, accessible website construction, class structures, and documentation
• Execute thorough quality assurance across devices and browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and review websites for accessibility, speed, functionality, and compatibility
• Mentor junior developers by reviewing their work and providing meaningful feedback while polishing team projects for launch
• Collaborate with strategists, designers, and clients to create inventive solutions and help them understand Webflow's possibilities and constraints
• Assist in estimating development scope and help project managers steward development budgets

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building websites, landing pages, and stores using Webflow, or demonstrated ability to build advanced Webflow projects from scratch
• Highly advanced front-end web development proficiency with the ability to develop complex layouts, animations, and custom-coded solutions for low-code tools
• Demonstrated proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and GSAP or other animation techniques
• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, site performance, page speed, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility guidelines
• Experience with tools like Asana, Slack, GitHub, Figma, and the Adobe Suite
• Strong analytical problem-solving, leadership, communication, and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate within a team and independently execute tasks, break down larger projects into smaller tasks, and estimate time and costs

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working within an agency as part of a development team
• Experience working with APIs and custom code integrations
• ADA Certification or equivalent accessibility training
• Proficiency with Webflow's agency-wide launchframe or starter sites
