About the Role

Savy is hiring a technical SEO & Content Strategist who combines data-driven keyword strategy with AI-augmented content production to scale impact without sacrificing quality. This is an SEO ownership role first, AI-augmented content production role second—you'll own keyword strategy, on-page optimization, technical SEO execution, and search performance analysis across a client portfolio while using Claude as your production engine. This fully remote position is ideal for someone who thinks like a systems engineer with a marketing brain, where data, measurable outcomes, and strategic thinking are your native language. If keyword performance, search rankings, and systems-based optimization excite you more than creative prose, this is your role.

Responsibilities

• Own keyword strategy across multiple client accounts—conduct keyword research, build keyword briefs, assign target keywords, and ensure every piece is optimized before publishing
• Implement on-page SEO directly: meta titles and descriptions, header structure (H1-H3), URL slugs, image alt text, internal linking, and schema markup
• Conduct and oversee technical SEO audits—diagnose and resolve issues related to site speed, crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, and site architecture in partnership with the development team
• Build and maintain per-client Claude Projects—organize brand voice guides, keyword strategies, audience personas, historical samples, and Client Learnings documents into structured knowledge bases
• Write and refine custom Claude instructions per client that embed brand strategy, SEO requirements, audience context, and quality standards into every piece produced
• QA every Claude-generated output for strategic fit, brand alignment, on-page SEO accuracy, and performance potential before client delivery
• Produce monthly performance reports covering keyword rankings, organic traffic trends, and content performance—translate data into actionable strategy recommendations
• Analyze content performance using Google Analytics 4, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs—translate findings into strategy adjustments and contribute to quarterly planning
• Contribute to Savy's AEO and GEO service delivery—ensuring client content is structured for citation in AI-generated answers across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Claude

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency, in-house, or freelance environment
• Proficiency with SEO tools (Yoast SEO, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console)
• Demonstrated expertise in technical SEO: site audits, schema markup implementation, Core Web Vitals optimization, and site architecture
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) for content production and research at scale
• Strong analytical mindset—data and measurable outcomes drive your decision-making
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts with varying brand voices and industries
• Commitment to daily collaboration and presence as a fully remote team member, not independent freelancer

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-augmented content workflows or AI optimization for search (AEO/GEO)
• Familiarity with Webflow or other modern web development platforms
• Background in technical writing or systems documentation
• Experience with schema markup and structured data implementation
• Knowledge of Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and other AI search platforms
