About the Role

The Ferraro Law Firm is hiring an SEO Strategist to own and grow the firm's organic search presence across Google, AI-powered search experiences, and other platforms where prospective clients research legal issues. This is a full-time, fully onsite role in Miami where you'll lead in-house SEO strategy, set the roadmap, and establish how SEO connects directly to qualified leads and signed cases. You'll work beyond traditional keyword rankings toward intent, entity, and topic-based strategy with a clear focus on business outcomes. Responsibilities

• Own the firm's organic search strategy and maintain a 12-month roadmap across content, technical SEO, authority building, and AI search optimization
• Lead day-to-day SEO execution and identify organic growth opportunities in core practice areas: asbestos and mesothelioma, mass torts, and personal injury
• Develop and implement the firm's strategy for visibility in AI Overviews, generative search engines, and AI assistant responses through answer-first content, structured data, and entity-based optimization
• Build topical hubs and content strategy using search intent and competitive research to establish the firm as a leading legal information source, while strengthening E-E-A-T signals through attorney authorship and credentials
• Run technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and structured data; partner with the Technical Director to prioritize and validate fixes
• Manage local search presence including Google Business Profile, citations, reviews, and multi-location optimization
• Build analytics and reporting that connects organic search to qualified leads and signed cases; deliver executive reporting on KPIs, visibility, and business impact
• Ensure all SEO content and link-building practices comply with Florida Bar advertising rules and pass attorney review

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional SEO experience, including ownership of strategy in a competitive lead-generation market
• Demonstrated ability to walk through specific case studies with measurable results and business outcomes
• Deep understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy in competitive verticals
• Experience building and executing AI search optimization strategies for visibility in AI Overviews and generative search
• Proven track record connecting organic search to lead generation and conversion metrics
• Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with attorneys, marketing teams, and technical staff
• Familiarity with legal services SEO and compliance requirements is a plus
