About the Role
TechTarget is hiring a Senior Web Designer for Branded Experience to lead the design and development of compelling web experiences in a hybrid role based in Newton, MA. In this position, you'll combine UX/UI expertise with technical proficiency to design and build responsive websites using Webflow and WordPress. If you're a talented web designer with 3-5+ years of experience, a strong portfolio, and a passion for creating visually engaging digital experiences, this full-time opportunity is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive web experiences using Webflow and WordPress
- Collaborate with marketing and development teams to create visually striking, engaging web pages and sites that drive traffic and user engagement
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and solutions
- Apply UI/UX principles to enhance user engagement and interaction across all digital products
- Build and maintain a design system to ensure visual consistency across all branded experiences
- Maintain and update existing websites to improve usability, performance, and accessibility
- Ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers, following responsive and mobile-first design principles
- Stay current with web design trends, technologies, and best practices to optimize performance and scalability
Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years of professional experience as a web designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating your work
- Proficiency in Webflow and/or WordPress for website design and development
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Adobe XD
- Solid foundation in design principles, responsive design, and mobile-first approaches
- Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
- Excellent visual design skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and principles
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation
