About the Role

HAUS is seeking a talented Web Designer to create beautiful, high-impact marketing websites for innovative deep tech companies. In this designer role, you'll translate fresh visual identities into fully realized web experiences, collaborate closely with copywriters and developers, and design in Webflow with both creativity and technical feasibility in mind. This is an ideal position for a designer who is passionate about deep tech, understands brand expression on the web, and thrives in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment working across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design stunning marketing websites for deep tech startups that function as powerful brand experiences and business tools, prioritizing narrative, visual impact, and brand expression
• Translate freshly built visual identities into fully realized web designs by working closely with HAUS brand designers, ensuring typography, color, imagery, and motion behave beautifully in a web context
• Partner with HAUS copywriters throughout the design process to develop page layouts that reinforce narrative structure and ensure design and language feel intentionally connected
• Collaborate hand-in-hand with developers on Webflow implementation, designing with clean files, organized components, clear annotations, and thoughtful consideration for buildability
• Actively explore and adopt AI tools to accelerate and improve web design work, from image generation to layout exploration and design QA
• Prepare and finalize design files with precision, maintaining organized Figma files, building reusable component libraries, and conducting thorough quality reviews before launch
• Act as the guardian of each client's brand identity by maintaining templates, design systems, and modules that allow clients to add pages and content without breaking the established visual language

Requirements

• Genuine passion for deep tech and excitement about cutting-edge technologies in AI, robotics, aerospace, biotech, quantum computing, and related fields
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Web Design, or related field
• At least 2–3 years of web design experience, ideally at a creative agency or in a marketing-focused role, with a strong portfolio of visually exceptional marketing websites demonstrating clear brand expression
• High proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto layout, and design systems
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, for asset creation and image work
• Familiarity with Webflow and understanding of how web design translates into buildable code

Nice to Have

• Experience with motion design and animation in web contexts
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals to better communicate with developers
• Previous experience designing for B2B or technology companies
