About the Role

ReliaQuest is hiring a Web Designer to lead all web design initiatives for their marketing team in Tampa, FL. As the lead designer, you'll own the end-to-end design process—from discovery through developer handoff—while creating responsive, high-performance web experiences that elevate their digital media presence across web, paid media, and social platforms. This is an ideal role for a mid-to-senior level designer who combines strong UI/UX fundamentals with motion design skills and ideally has experience with Webflow or other modern web platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end web design from discovery and concepting through final UI and developer handoff
• Design responsive page layouts, navigation, and components for web and mobile experiences
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and web style guides
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma
• Create web-ready animations for UI interactions, hero sections, explainer sequences, and micro-interactions
• Partner with developers to ensure quality implementation through design reviews and iteration
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, present work, and incorporate feedback
• Optimize web experiences using usability best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and data-driven insights
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to improving team processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in digital design, graphic design, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional web/UI design experience with a strong portfolio of modern web work
• Expert proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto layout, prototyping)
• Strong foundation in typography, layout, color, and interaction design
• Deep understanding of responsive design, usability, information architecture, and web best practices
• Familiarity with design systems and experience collaborating with developers
• Experience designing for conversion, performance, and SEO-aware layouts
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and deliver on deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience with CMS platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, Contentful, or Shopify
• Motion design skills including micro-interactions, Lottie animations, or After Effects
• Experience animating for product onboarding, interactive storytelling, or data visualization
• Basic proficiency with sound design or video editing tools (Premiere, Audition, etc.)
• Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency
