About the Role

SocialSurge Marketing is hiring a Web Designer to join their team in Milwaukee, WI with occasional in-person work required. This entry-level, full-time position balances creative design with technical website development, working directly with website and SEO clients. You'll be a team player who's goal-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow with the agency—ideally with WordPress and Elementor experience to manage client websites from day one.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, and brand-consistent web experiences
• Continually improve and optimize user experience for client websites
• Manage day-to-day website operations and maintenance
• Collaborate with the team on website development and SEO projects

Requirements

• 2+ years of WordPress experience
• 2+ years of Elementor (or similar WordPress page builder) experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in web design
• Ability to work in-person occasionally in Milwaukee, WI
• Strong work ethic, team player mentality, and willingness to learn

Nice to Have

• Webflow experience
• Google Analytics and Tag Manager knowledge
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
• General SEO knowledge
