About the Role

As a Web Experience Designer at Devoto Works in Providence, Rhode Island, you'll build and design websites that don't just look beautiful—they perform. This role combines design sensibility with UX/UI principles, requiring you to collaborate closely with developers to ensure flawless execution. You'll be an ideal fit if you're passionate about balancing aesthetics with business outcomes and staying current with design and technology trends.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, wireframe, and design websites tailored to brand goals
• Optimize designs for speed, SEO, and conversion performance
• Collaborate with developers to ensure functionality meets the creative vision
• Conduct user testing and iterate designs based on data and feedback
• Stay current with design and technology trends

Requirements

• Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS systems (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, etc.)
• Strong eye for typography, spacing, and modern design principles
• Ability to balance aesthetics with business outcomes and measurable impact
