About the Role
Konica Minolta is seeking a Web Production Specialist to join their Marketing team in a hybrid role based in Ramsey, NJ (Monday-Thursday in office, Fridays remote). This is an exciting opportunity to own the construction, editing, and publication of web properties while elevating the company brand through exceptional user experiences. As Web Production Specialist, you'll provide strategic digital solutions that simplify the journey through Konica Minolta's broad portfolio of products and services. This role is perfect for a design-minded professional who combines UX expertise with web production skills and a passion for emerging design trends.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed wireframes, task-flows, prototypes, mockups, and user journeys to showcase site functionality and page appearance
- Iterate and evolve designs through user testing and qualitative sessions to improve engagement, usability, and user affinity
- Lead web production projects from start to finish by collaborating with stakeholders (IT, Creative, Copywriting) using strong design methodology
- Provide web production support using Content Management System (CMS) templates and modules
- Author web pages leveraging UX best practices, optimal page layout, and brand guidelines
- Assess and document process and workflow improvements to enhance team efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into intuitive design recommendations
- Stay current on emerging industry trends and provide insights on visual design, usability, website functionality, and conversion rate optimization
- Analyze data results from design changes and content updates to ensure goals are met and refine designs accordingly
- Ensure compliance with all corporate and global policies and directives
Requirements
- BS in Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in user experience design and web applications
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 3+ years of experience with Content Management Systems
- Proficiency in web design tools such as Webflow, Figma, XD, or Axure
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge and experience using visual storytelling techniques
- Experience with web management best practices including UCD methodologies, search engine optimization, responsive design, and accessibility standards
- Strong analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
- Self-motivated and focused on deliverables and execution
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript
- Experience using analytics tools such as GA4, Ahrefs, SEMRush, or Hotjar
