About the Role

DataAnnotation is hiring a Web UI Designer to help train advanced AI models in understanding design principles. In this remote position based in Washington, United States, you'll leverage your design expertise to evaluate AI outputs, provide detailed feedback, and shape how AI systems comprehend aesthetics, usability, and creative quality. This is a flexible, independent contract role perfect for designers who want to work on their own schedule while contributing to the future of AI-assisted design.

Responsibilities

• Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals for quality and performance
• Evaluate how well AI models understand aesthetic quality, visual hierarchy, and user-centered design
• Provide detailed feedback to help train models to better understand design principles and creative excellence
• Assess AI outputs across UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation including presentations and creative deliverables
• Help refine the model's sense of usability, visual design, and interaction design

Requirements

• Fluency in English at a native or bilingual level
• Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
• Located in the United States (required for this position)

• Current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor's degree
