About the Role

Broccoli is seeking a talented Webflow Designer to lead the design and development of our company website. You'll combine clean, modern design sensibilities with hands-on Webflow expertise to shape how our site looks, functions, and evolves. This is an ideal opportunity for a designer who has a keen eye for detail, works efficiently, and takes pride in delivering polished, professional digital experiences. Based in New York, New York, this is a contractor position perfect for someone ready to make an immediate impact on our web presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead website design and development inside Webflow, managing page structure, CMS organization, and overall architecture
• Make key visual decisions including typography, spacing, hierarchy, and brand expression across all pages
• Build and maintain reusable design components to ensure consistency as the site grows
• Create high-converting landing pages for campaigns, launches, and promotions
• Optimize site performance, responsiveness, and accessibility without compromising visual quality
• Handle page layouts, SEO metadata, and routine content updates directly in Webflow
• Contribute creatively to web graphics, imagery, and overall visual direction
• Identify and solve design and functional issues, proposing improvements to the team

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional web design experience with a portfolio of live, production websites
• Solid, hands-on Webflow experience—you've shipped real production sites, not just mockups
• Proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and file preparation
• User-centered design thinking and ability to prioritize user experience in all decisions
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS to recognize when custom code is needed
• Understanding of responsive layouts, page speed optimization, and accessibility fundamentals
• Familiarity with SEO metadata, page structure, and related best practices
• Self-directed, communicative, and reliable about meeting deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience maintaining brand consistency across a growing collection of web pages
• Previous work on marketing sites or SaaS/tech company websites
• Comfort working with small or early-stage companies where priorities shift and solutions are still being defined
• Animation or motion design work built in Webflow
• Familiarity with Webflow's CMS and/or e-commerce features
