Webflow Designer / Digital Designer

Electric Mind is seeking a talented Webflow Designer / Digital Designer to support a short-term website and digital design initiative based in Toronto, Ohio, US.

About the Role

This is a 2-month contract position perfect for a hands-on designer who thrives moving from concept to execution. You'll design and build responsive, premium web experiences in Webflow, balancing creativity with practical implementation. We're looking for a designer comfortable working quickly, taking feedback constructively, and making thoughtful decisions with confidence. If you excel at responsive design, animations, interaction design, and can produce high-quality work independently, this role is ideal for you.

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive pages and components in Webflow across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Develop animations, transitions, hover states, and micro-interactions to enhance user experience
• Translate brand direction and visual concepts into production-ready web experiences
• Work with existing design systems, style guides, brand assets, and Webflow CMS collections
• Optimize pages for usability, performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, designers, developers, and content teams
• Conduct QA testing across browsers and screen sizes, supporting quick iterations based on feedback
• Maintain clean Webflow structure including classes, symbols/components, and reusable patterns

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and building websites in Webflow
• Strong visual design skills including typography, layout, spacing, hierarchy, and responsive design
• Proven experience with Webflow animations and interactions
• Ability to work from Figma designs or create new designs directly in Webflow
• Solid understanding of responsive design best practices and Webflow CMS, components, and variables
• Demonstrated ability to produce polished, high-quality work within a short timeline
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort working independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with B2B, consulting, technology, SaaS, or professional services websites
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Lottie, SVG animation, GSAP, or custom interaction patterns
• Understanding of accessibility standards and web performance best practices
• Experience working with marketing teams, brand teams, or content strategists
• Ability to support light UX improvements, content layout, and conversion-focused design
