About the Role

STN is seeking an experienced Webflow Designer for a project-based contract position in Pleasanton, California. In this role, you'll be the go-to Webflow authority, translating AI-generated code and design files into pixel-perfect, responsive Webflow sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Webflow professional to own the entire implementation pipeline—from architecture and component design to QA and optimization—while helping refine the process itself over a six-month engagement. You'll work independently as a contractor, delivering polished, live pages with minimal back-and-forth and zero loss of design fidelity.

Responsibilities

• Translate HTML/CSS/JS files generated with Claude into well-structured Webflow builds that preserve layout, responsiveness, interactions, and visual fidelity
• Own the Webflow architecture: design and maintain a clean class system, reusable components, and comprehensive style guide to keep builds consistent as projects grow
• Set up and manage CMS collections and dynamic content where pages require it
• Implement custom code embeds, attributes, and integrations judiciously where Webflow's native tools fall short
• QA every build across breakpoints and browsers, with attention to load performance, SEO fundamentals, and accessibility standards
• Provide feedback on the AI-to-Webflow workflow to help refine the pipeline, identifying what makes generated files easy or difficult to implement

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Webflow experience with a portfolio of live sites you've built
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—able to read and understand handed-off code and rebuild it in Webflow's class and component model
• Proven experience with Webflow CMS, interactions, animations, and responsive design across all breakpoints
• Comfortable working independently as a contractor with strong async communication skills, reliable estimates, and dependable delivery
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (sponsorship not available)
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Willing to pass background check and reference verification

Nice to Have

• Prior experience converting externally produced code or AI-generated output into Webflow
• Familiarity with class-naming conventions like Client-First or similar systems, Finsweet attributes, DevLink, or the Webflow API
• Experience with site performance optimization and SEO in Webflow
