Hotjar is seeking talented Webflow professionals to optimize their mental health services directory. The company is looking for experienced developers to execute technical SEO improvements and page speed enhancements on their platform.

About the Role

This is a contract Webflow developer position focused on technical SEO implementation and page speed optimization. You'll work on a mental health services directory that has a completed SEO audit with identified issues ready to be executed. This role is perfect for a Webflow developer with strong technical SEO expertise who can deliver measurable improvements in Core Web Vitals and resolve duplicate content issues within 2-3 weeks. The position is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Core Web Vitals score from current B rating to A rating
• Improve overall page loading times and performance across the site
• Clean up and reorganize the design system to resolve performance bottlenecks
• Identify and resolve duplicate page issues using proper canonical tags, 301 redirects, and page removal
• Reduce "not indexed" pages in Google Search Console from 335 to less than 200
• Implement all audit recommendations for speed improvements and technical SEO fixes
• Document all changes made and provide before/after screenshots from Google Search Console and Core Web Vitals reports
• Conduct handoff session explaining fixes implemented and best practices for future error prevention

Requirements

• Proven experience with Webflow development (portfolio examples required)
• Strong technical SEO background with demonstrable results
• Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals and page speed metrics
• Experience resolving duplicate content issues and implementing canonical tags
• Ability to provide references or examples of similar Webflow optimization projects
• Available to complete work within 2-3 weeks

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Search Console optimization
• Familiarity with design system cleanup and consolidation
