About the Role

As a Website Implementation Specialist at RealWork in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area, you'll be on the front lines of launching contractor websites built on the Duda-based template platform. This hands-on production role combines web building, content refinement, and SEO optimization—you'll take a contractor's brand, jobs, and service mix and turn it into a fast, beautifully built, locally optimized site that helps them win more work. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their web career who has shipped real sites, has strong design instincts, cares about how pages actually rank and convert, and is excited to work inside an AI-native production workflow where you'll bring taste and judgment to AI-generated content.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch contractor websites on the RealWork template, configuring layouts, modules, and content for each new customer.
• Work inside the AI content pipeline—reviewing and editing generated page copy to ensure every site has a clear voice and authentic point of view.
• Handle light HTML/CSS customization within the web builder (and occasionally outside of it) to deliver a polished, on-brand result.
• Ensure the application of SEO and GEO best practices on every site: page structure, metadata, schema, internal linking, service-area pages, and Google Business Profile alignment.
• Bring design judgment to typography, layout, imagery, and overall visual polish—making sure each launched site looks like RealWork's best work.
• Partner with Activation and Customer Success teams to translate onboarding inputs (interviews, brand assets, job data) into a launched site on schedule.
• QA every site before launch across desktop and mobile for performance, accessibility, broken links, and content accuracy.
• Help improve the template itself by surfacing patterns, friction points, and opportunities to make future launches faster and better.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience building websites in a professional or freelance capacity, with a portfolio of live sites you can point to.
• Comfortable working in HTML and CSS—you can read it, write it, and debug it without hand-holding.
• Experience with DNS and domain configuration, including A records, CNAMEs, nameservers, and TTLs; ability to confidently guide non-technical clients through registrar updates.
• Hands-on experience with at least one website builder or CMS (Duda, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, Framer, or similar).
• Working understanding of SEO fundamentals: page structure, metadata, schema, content hierarchy, and how search engines interpret pages.
• Familiarity with local SEO/GEO concepts including Google Business Profile, service-area targeting, NAP consistency, and location-specific content.
• Genuine design sense and a clear point of view on what makes website copy good—you should care about typography, spacing, hierarchy, and color, and be able to spot when something looks off.
