About the Role

DataAnnotation is seeking a talented Brand Designer to help train and improve AI models' understanding of design principles. In this remote position based in Hawaii, you'll evaluate AI-generated design outputs, provide expert feedback, and shape how the next generation of AI tools supports designers. This is an exciting opportunity for designers who want to influence AI development while working flexibly on projects that match your expertise and interests.

Responsibilities

• Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals for quality and performance
• Evaluate AI model outputs for correctness, aesthetic quality, and user-centered design principles
• Provide detailed feedback to help train models to better understand visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
• Assess how AI systems understand and generate design work across interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences
• Contribute to design-specific projects focusing on UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation

Requirements

• Fluency in English at native or bilingual level
• Professional background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow principles
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
• Located in the United States (only applicants in the US will be considered)
• Ability to work independently as a contractor with flexible scheduling

• Current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor's degree
