Responsibilities

• Identify and own a critical function or project that advances Coval's mission in category creation
• Operate with autonomy and leadership to solve problems that may not have existing frameworks or playbooks
• Collaborate across disciplines with team members who similarly operate outside traditional job descriptions
• Leverage AI tools and modern technology to expand your capabilities and impact
• Help define what's missing in our organization and the broader market, then build toward it

Requirements

• A clear obsession or area of expertise—something you're genuinely world-class or passionate about
• Demonstrated impact at a previous company where you were critical to something working
• Experience using AI tools in practical, real-world applications (not theoretical)
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a role without a preset job description
• Full-time availability in San Francisco or willingness to relocate

Nice to Have

• Experience in category creation or launching entirely new product categories
• Background in technology, software development, design, operations, or data engineering
• Track record of identifying market gaps and building solutions to address them
