About the Role

ICON is hiring a Digital Experience Developer II to own the technical health, performance, and continuous improvement of iconbuild.com. You'll sit within the Marketing & Customer Experience team, working at the intersection of design, content, and engineering to ensure the website is fast, functional, and constantly evolving. This is an onsite, full-time role based in Austin, TX, perfect for a detail-obsessed developer who thrives balancing maintenance with innovation—from squashing bugs to building new landing pages and collaborating with design on campaign experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day technical health of iconbuild.com, monitoring for bugs, broken links, rendering issues, and performance degradation across browsers and devices
• Triage and resolve site issues quickly with clear communication to stakeholders on status and resolution timelines
• Manage CMS updates, plugin and dependency maintenance, and platform upgrades with minimal disruption to the live site
• Build and maintain new pages, templates, modules, and interactive features that support marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives
• Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams to translate Figma mockups and creative briefs into pixel-accurate, responsive web experiences
• Continuously audit and improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO health through asset optimization, caching, lazy loading, and other performance best practices
• Implement and maintain robust tracking infrastructure across iconbuild.com—including Google Tag Manager, GA4, pixel integrations, conversion event tracking, and custom configurations
• Own the setup, QA, and ongoing maintenance of GA4 properties, ensuring data accuracy across all campaigns and pages
• Build and maintain master dashboards synthesizing website data from GA4, HubSpot, Search Console, paid media platforms, and CRM data into actionable views for marketing, sales, and leadership
• Contribute to backend support during downtime from web priorities, including bug fixes, internal tooling, API troubleshooting, and software QA with the Engineering & Software Development team
• Serve as the primary technical partner for the marketing team, translating requests, scoping work accurately, and delivering on time

Requirements

• Proven experience as a web developer with strong proficiency in front-end technologies and responsive design
• Deep expertise with web analytics platforms, particularly Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking implementation
• Demonstrated ability to build pixel-accurate, performance-optimized websites and translate design mockups into functional code
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, site performance optimization, and on-page SEO implementation
• Comfort with CMS platforms, third-party API integrations, and plugin/dependency management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, design, and engineering teams
• Full-stack capability with willingness to support backend work and contribute to software development initiatives

Nice to Have

• Experience with Webflow or modern web development frameworks
• Familiarity with HubSpot CRM or other marketing automation platforms
• Background in data dashboard design and reporting frameworks
• Experience working at the intersection of marketing and engineering teams
