As a Hands-On Web/UI Design Lead at Group 1001, you'll lead a team of 3 Web/UI designers while staying actively involved in hands-on design work. You'll be responsible for ensuring quality, accessibility, and compliance across all marketing web properties while mentoring your team in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3 Web/UI designers, providing direction, feedback, and professional development in an agile setting
• Personally contribute to design work using Figma and Webflow across marketing web properties
• Conduct design reviews and prototype solutions to de-risk strategic initiatives
• Own product scope for the portfolio and ensure architectural health across digital properties
• Ensure accessibility standards and regulatory compliance across all web properties
• Guide security posture and technical best practices for design systems and web infrastructure
• Collaborate with stakeholders across member companies to maintain consistency and quality

Requirements

• Proven experience leading design teams and managing Web/UI designers
• Expert-level proficiency in Webflow and modern web design practices
• Strong background with Figma and design systems
• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and regulatory compliance requirements
• Technical knowledge of web architecture, security, and performance optimization
• Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on design work with management responsibilities
