About the Role

AM Digital Designs is hiring a Remote Web Designer to join their team on a contract/project basis (1099). In this conversion-focused role, you'll translate brand guidelines into high-performance websites using Figma for design and WordPress/Elementor for implementation. You'll have the opportunity to work with Webflow and Shopify as well, collaborating on projects that prioritize both aesthetics and user experience. This remote-first position with hybrid flexibility is perfect for a designer who thrives in dynamic, client-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Design responsive, visually compelling marketing websites in Figma based on brand guidelines
• Implement designs in WordPress/Elementor with a focus on conversion optimization
• Build and optimize websites using Webflow and Shopify when project requirements align
• Ensure all assets are optimized for performance, accessibility, and user experience
• Collaborate with team members and clients to refine designs and meet project goals
• Maintain responsive design best practices across all devices and browsers

Requirements

• Proven experience designing responsive websites in Figma
• Strong proficiency implementing designs in WordPress/Elementor
• Solid understanding of conversion-driven design principles
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility standards
• Ability to work independently on contract/project-based work (1099)
• Located in or willing to work with the Lawrence, MA timezone for hybrid opportunities

Nice to Have

• Experience designing and building with Webflow
• Shopify design and customization experience
• Portfolio demonstrating conversion-focused web design projects
