We are seeking a Senior Manager, IT Operations to lead our dedicated IT Operations team. This role is vital in helping employees work securely and productively as we expand our global reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Mentor and manage the IT operations team to ensure effective IT service delivery.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Develop performance metrics and professional development programs.
- Serve as the escalation point for technical and operational challenges.
- Operational Oversight:
- Ensure the reliability and performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Track KPIs on service delivery and user experience.
- Manage IT Asset Management across the enterprise.
- Strategy and Planning:
- Define IT operations strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Align IT operations with organizational goals.
- Lead initiatives in capacity planning and disaster recovery.
- Process Optimization:
- Establish best practices for IT management and service delivery.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Drive automation and digital transformation within the team.
- Business Fundamentals:
- Manage IT operations budgets and resources effectively.
- Collaborate with departments such as Engineering and Security for IT initiatives.
- Ensure seamless execution of IT projects following change management protocols.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in IT operations or infrastructure management in fast-paced, cloud-native environments.
- 3+ years of experience leading high-performing IT teams.
- Proven track record in a remote-first, asynchronous working environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong vendor negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and service management tools.
- Hands-on expertise in systems administration and network operations.
- Experience supporting compliance efforts (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and automation platforms (e.g., Terraform).
