About the Role

Wonderist Agency is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to lead and optimize a diverse portfolio of dental client accounts in a fast-paced, high-growth agency environment. This role goes beyond day-to-day implementation—you'll own complex client scenarios, develop scalable SEO strategies, mentor junior team members, and help drive organic search performance at scale. The ideal candidate is highly organized, strategic, and passionate about delivering measurable results while thriving in a collaborative, fast-moving startup atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable, results-driven SEO strategies that drive growth across a large, diverse portfolio of dental clients
• Serve as the primary SEO expert for assigned accounts, leading client communications via email and calls to discuss performance, strategy, and escalations
• Manage junior SEO specialists by reviewing work, sharing best practices, and contributing to their professional growth and development
• Execute comprehensive SEO initiatives including content strategy, keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, schema markup, site architecture, and page speed optimization
• Execute local SEO strategies including citation management, local keyword targeting, and Google Business Profile enhancements for dental practices
• Deliver complex performance data from GA4, GSC, SEMrush, and other SEO tools into actionable insights for strategic client reporting
• Collaborate with external SEO partners, web, content, and paid media teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and create holistic client approaches
• Manage workload effectively across a high volume of client accounts while meeting deadlines and supporting team workflow optimization

Requirements

• 4+ years of SEO experience in an agency environment, managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Deep understanding of SEO ranking factors, technical SEO, on-page optimizations, schema markup, and local SEO best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to serve as a trusted client-facing and internal SEO advisor with proactive recommendations
• Ability to develop and implement SEO best practices at scale across complex client portfolios
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, and SEMrush
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support junior team members in a growth-oriented environment
