About the Role

Better U is seeking an exceptional Senior Webflow Developer to own the ongoing maintenance, optimization, and evolution of their marketing websites. This is a long-term partnership opportunity—not a one-off build—for someone who brings technical excellence, SEO rigor, and world-class UI sensibility to a mission-driven organization. If you take pride in clean architecture, performance, and elegant user experiences, and you've built Webflow sites that feel premium, fast, and intentional, this remote role is for you. You'll operate independently, think strategically about scalability, and execute with precision across a portfolio of sophisticated Webflow properties.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize high-performance Webflow websites, including complex CMS-driven content architecture and management
• Implement custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript enhancements where Webflow alone is insufficient, ensuring pixel-perfect responsiveness across all devices and browsers
• Design and build with technical SEO best practices in mind, including site structure, clean markup, page speed optimization, and Core Web Vitals compliance
• Design and integrate advanced interactive 3D elements using Spline, connecting Webflow interactions to 3D scenes for scroll, hover, and mouse movement triggers
• Proactively identify and resolve performance, UX, and technical issues while maintaining clean, scalable structure for rapid iteration and future growth
• Partner with internal stakeholders to translate concepts into polished execution, provide QA before deployment, and deliver ongoing technical support as the platform evolves
• Apply conversion rate optimization (CRO) fundamentals and modern UI/UX principles—hierarchy, spacing, typography, motion, and clarity—to create interfaces that feel premium and conversion-focused

Requirements

• Proven senior-level experience building and maintaining production Webflow sites with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and consistently meet deadlines
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Webflow CMS, with deep understanding of responsive design and performance optimization
• Demonstrated experience with SEO-aware development practices and technical SEO implementation, ensuring pages are search-engine optimized by design
• Experience integrating 3D or advanced interactive elements, with Spline integration strongly preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders
• Portfolio of Webflow sites you personally built or led (applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed)

Nice to Have

• Experience designing scalable, modular Webflow systems and architecture
• Familiarity with CRO testing, analytics, and performance monitoring tools
• Background in healthcare, SaaS, or regulated industries
• Experience with other CMS platforms such as WordPress
