About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented, execution-focused SEO & Content Associate to drive organic growth and search visibility for a new digital telco brand in the MENA region. In this role, you'll own keyword research, content execution, technical SEO audits, and reporting—ensuring everything is SEO-ready, measurable, and aligned with acquisition goals. You'll optimize content not only for traditional search engine rankings but also for emerging GenAI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. The ideal candidate combines strong written communication skills, regional market knowledge, and a passion for bridging the gap between SEO best practices and AI-powered search discovery.

Responsibilities

• Implement SEO best practices across core pages, blogs, and Help Center—including title tags, headers, metadata, schema, and internal linking
• Conduct keyword research to support new content creation and optimize existing assets for search intent
• Monitor technical SEO elements including indexing, site structure, mobile responsiveness, and page speed; collaborate with engineering to resolve issues
• Write and optimize SEO-focused content such as landing pages, blog articles, FAQs, and product pages aligned with key search intents
• Optimize content for both traditional search engine results and visibility in GenAI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)
• Track and report on organic KPIs including rankings, traffic, CTR, bounce rates, and conversions using GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and Looker
• Conduct regular site audits and content refreshes to improve rankings and fix SEO issues
• Stay current with search algorithm updates and GenAI platform developments, translating insights into actionable changes
• Provide SEO guidance for product launches, new landing pages, and marketing campaigns

Requirements

• 4-6 years of hands-on SEO and content experience in fast-paced digital or B2C environments
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record improving rankings and scaling organic traffic through content and technical SEO
• Strong proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) and analytics platforms (GA4, Looker)
• Experience working with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow) and cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

• Prior exposure to MENA markets and understanding of regional search behavior
• Familiarity with GenAI platforms and how content is retrieved and ranked in AI-powered search
