About the Role

This is a full-time remote SEO Expert position (based in Lahore, working U.S. Pacific/Central business hours) with a fast-growing U.S. digital marketing agency. You'll be the in-house SEO expert owning technical and strategic SEO across a diverse portfolio of client websites built on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and other platforms. This "Swiss Army knife" role is perfect for someone who thrives managing multiple accounts simultaneously and enjoys jumping between different site architectures, technologies, and client industries without hesitation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits across all client sites, including Core Web Vitals optimization, crawl and indexing diagnostics, redirects, site architecture, and schema markup implementation
• Implement platform-specific SEO solutions on WordPress (Yoast/RankMath, page builders) and Webflow (CMS collections, custom code embeds, SEO settings), plus Shopify and other builders as needed
• Perform keyword research, search intent mapping, and on-page SEO optimization (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, content refinement) across diverse client industries
• Develop and execute local SEO strategies for service-based clients, including Google Business Profile optimization, citation management, and location-specific page creation
• Create content strategy briefs and editorial calendars that empower writers and align with SEO goals
• Lead link building and digital PR outreach campaigns to build domain authority
• Execute SEO migration checklists for new website launches to preserve existing rankings when sites transition platforms
• Build comprehensive monthly reports using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush, translating data into clear insights on rankings, traffic, and conversions
• Serve as the SEO voice within the agency, advising account managers on client priorities and next steps

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience in an agency environment managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Proven track record with measurable results—you can demonstrate your work with screenshots from Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar tools
• Real, production-level experience optimizing or building live sites on both WordPress and Webflow
• Strong technical SEO fundamentals: ability to read crawl reports, diagnose indexing issues, and implement fixes independently
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS with the ability to implement schema markup and technical solutions without developer support
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, and either Ahrefs or Semrush
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)—you'll work directly with the U.S. team and occasionally with clients
• Ability to consistently work U.S. hours (Pacific/Central time) with reliable internet and backup power
• Strong organizational skills to manage 10+ client accounts independently and track multiple deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, or GoHighLevel websites
• E-commerce SEO expertise (product pages, collection pages, faceted navigation optimization)
• Familiarity with AI search and generative engine optimization (AI Overviews, ChatGPT search visibility)
• Experience running or supporting Google Ads or Local Service Ads
• Basic understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and landing page optimization
