About the Role

IT Edge is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Web Designer & Account Manager to join their full-time team in West Chester, PA. In this hybrid position, you'll design, build, and maintain high-quality WordPress websites using Elementor Pro while managing client relationships and support tickets. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of web design or agency experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves modern page builders, and excels at balancing creative design with ongoing client success and website maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch responsive, visually appealing websites using WordPress and Elementor Pro for clients across Chester County and the greater Philadelphia area
• Handle inbound client support tickets efficiently, including text/image updates, plugin updates, and troubleshooting layout issues
• Build, test, and deploy complex user forms and lead-generation workflows using WP Forms or similar form plugins
• Manage staging and production environments, backups, and site migrations utilizing WP Engine hosting platform
• Ensure all websites are cross-browser compatible, mobile-responsive, and optimized for basic SEO and page speed before launch
• Interface with clients via phone, video call, email, and ticketing systems to clarify support requests and provide status updates

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional experience managing or building websites, with agency experience being a major plus
• Proven proficiency with WordPress, Elementor (or similar page builders), and WP Forms (or similar form plugins)
• Familiarity with WP Engine workflows including staging environments, caching, and backups
• Strong portfolio demonstrating clean typography, intuitive layouts, and solid mobile-first design principles
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work autonomously without micromanagement
• Ability to work hybrid: one day per week on-site in West Chester, PA (flexible 8-hour shifts between 7AM-9AM start times); otherwise remote or in-office as preferred

Benefits & Perks

• Annual Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Year-End Bonus: Typically 5–10% of salary, with opportunities for bonuses exceeding 10% for exceptional performance and revenue generation
