About the Role

Fastbreak AI is hiring a Web Designer in Charlotte, NC to own the design and development of their website in Webflow. This is a hands-on, mid-senior level position for someone who leads with user experience design and backs it up with expert-level Webflow skills. You'll work closely with marketing, product, and leadership to build a visually stunning website that converts—this role is perfect for a designer with a strong point of view who doesn't need direction and can identify problems and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of Fastbreak's website in Webflow, including architecture, layout, components, and CMS structure
• Drive visual design decisions with strong opinions on typography, spacing, hierarchy, and brand expression
• Build and maintain a component library that scales across pages while maintaining consistency
• Translate campaign briefs, product launches, and sales priorities into high-performing landing pages
• Optimize for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility without compromising design quality
• Manage page structure, SEO metadata, and CMS content updates within Webflow
• Collaborate with marketing on creative direction for web assets, graphics, and visual content
• Contribute design expertise to decks, one-pagers, social assets, and event materials when needed

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in web design and development with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual design across multiple projects
• Expert-level Webflow skills—you've built and expanded production sites, not just prototypes, and understand the platform's limits and workarounds
• A design-first mindset with genuine focus on user experience and UX principles
• Proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and design handoff
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; comfortable diving into code when needed
• Strong grasp of responsive design, web performance, and accessibility standards
• Experience building or working within a brand system with ability to maintain consistency under deadline pressure
• SEO literacy—understanding of metadata and why page structure matters
• Legal authorization to work in the USA (visa sponsorship is not available)

Nice to Have

• Mobile or software UI/UX design experience
• Portfolio demonstrating B2B SaaS, marketing sites, or technology brands
• Startup or early-stage company experience and comfort building things that don't exist yet
• Motion design or animation experience in Webflow
