About the Role
Cotality is seeking a talented Webflow UX/UI Designer in Austin, TX to bridge the gap between visual creativity and technical implementation. In this hands-on role, you'll serve as the strategic link between the creative and web teams, translating marketing goals into high-converting, production-ready experiences. You'll define optimal design-to-build workflows, manage scalable design systems, and elevate the brand through immersive Webflow interactions and seamless user experiences. This position is perfect for a designer who combines strong Webflow expertise with strategic thinking and a passion for performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary translation layer between creative and web teams, ensuring brand standards are upheld while maintaining web performance and conversion best practices
- Translate abstract marketing goals into concrete visual realities using Webflow 3D transforms, motion graphics, and interactive modules
- Establish and manage a formal design review process, presenting prototypes to stakeholders and iterating rapidly while defending UX best practices
- Maintain and evolve a robust design system in Figma that provides pixel-perfect technical specs for developers and accessible visual references for marketing teams
- Build complex scroll animations, parallax effects, and "Scrollytelling" experiences using Webflow's interaction engine and external libraries like GSAP
- Design visual architecture for HubSpot landing pages and emails, ensuring designs are feasible within platform limitations
- Partner with the Strategy Lead to rapidly prototype A/B test variations and monitor performance using heatmaps and Webflow Analyze to optimize for conversions
- Design all systems with localization in mind, ensuring layouts are flexible for different regions, languages, and character counts
Requirements
- Portfolio of live, production Webflow sites required (not static images), demonstrating complex interactions, clean class structures, and responsive implementations
- Advanced proficiency in Webflow, specifically with Interaction Engine (IX2) and CMS Collections
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining scalable design systems in Figma or similar tools, with understanding of Auto-Layouts, Variables, and Components mapping to Webflow
- Strong ability to translate marketing goals into technical and visual specifications while defending UX best practices
- Experience designing for multiple platforms and ensuring cross-platform consistency across web, email, and third-party tools
- Familiarity with performance optimization tools and conversion-focused design methodologies
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with GSAP or custom code for advanced animations
- Experience with HubSpot design and implementation
- Knowledge of heatmap tools like Microsoft Clarity and A/B testing methodologies
