Website Designer
Job Description
About the Company
Fastbreak AI is a rapidly growing leader in sports operations software. Their products create the schedules of professional leagues like the NBA, MLS, and NHL, as well as some of the largest youth and amateur sports organizations around the globe. They're building the infrastructure that powers sports at every level.
About the Role
Fastbreak AI is seeking a talented Website Designer to own the design and development of their web presence. This is a mid-senior level position for someone with expert-level Webflow skills and a design-first mindset who can lead with user experience and deliver websites that earn attention and convert. You'll work closely with marketing, product, and leadership from their Charlotte, NC office, building production-ready sites that represent the caliber of a rapidly scaling tech company in the sports industry.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and development of Fastbreak's multiple websites in Webflow—design, architecture, layout, components, and CMS structure
- Drive visual design decisions with a strong point of view on typography, spacing, hierarchy, and brand expression
- Build and maintain a component library that scales across pages without breaking consistency
- Translate campaign briefs, product launches, and sales priorities into polished landing pages that perform
- Collaborate with marketing on creative direction for web assets, graphics, and visual content
- Optimize for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility without sacrificing design quality
- Manage page structure, SEO metadata, and CMS content updates within Webflow
- Contribute design thinking beyond the website into decks, one-pagers, social assets, and event materials when needed
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in web design and development, with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual design across multiple projects
- Expert-level Webflow skills—you've built and expanded production sites, not just prototypes, and understand the platform's limits and workarounds. Alternatively, strong PHP, HTML, and CSS experience building front ends without Webflow
- A genuine design-first mindset with user experience as your primary focus
- Proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and handoff
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; you know when to get into the code when needed
- Strong grasp of responsive design, web performance, and accessibility standards
- SEO literacy—you understand metadata and why page structure matters
- Experience building or working within a brand system and maintaining consistency under deadline pressure
- Based in or planning to relocate to Charlotte, NC, and excited to work in person
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
Nice to Have
- Mobile or software UI/UX design experience
- Portfolio featuring B2B SaaS, marketing sites, or technology brands
- Startup or early-stage company experience; comfort building things that don't exist yet
- Motion design or animation experience in Webflow
Benefits & Perks
- Competitive base salary
- Company stock options
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with employer match
- Relocation assistance available
- Opportunity to shape the future of a rapidly growing company in the sports industry
