About the Role

Healthcare Success is seeking a Junior Web Developer to join their growing team in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area (100% virtual, Pacific Time hours). In this entry-level position, you'll build and maintain client websites, landing pages, and web applications using modern development technologies and page builders like Webflow. This role is ideal for a motivated developer with 2-5+ years of experience managing multiple client projects in a fast-paced, digital performance-driven agency environment who wants to grow their skills across the full development stack.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain client websites and plugins/modules for CMS environments such as WordPress, Drupal, and similar platforms
• Work closely with SEO and Technical Product teams to develop technical specifications for web projects including sites and landing pages
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across the stack (HTML, CSS/SCSS, VanillaJS, jQuery, ReactJS, PHP, Node.js, etc.)
• Collaborate with Senior Developers, Design, Project Management, and Account Management teams to translate designs into functional web pages
• Manage Git version control and execute basic deployment workflows
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot CMS and full-stack development issues to ensure optimal performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent time in development roles
• 2-5 years of professional development experience, preferably at a digital agency working on paid search, paid social, or SEO campaigns
• CMS development knowledge for WordPress or similar systems
• Page-builder expertise with Webflow, Elementor, Divi, Oxygen, or comparable tools
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to translate Adobe XD/Figma designs into clean, responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong communication skills and a results-driven "get it done" work ethic with sense of urgency
• Basic understanding of SEO principles, responsive web design, Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as ReactJS, Next.js, or Angular
• Knowledge of WP Engine hosting, general web hosting, and DNS management
• Familiarity with Facebook advertising, Freshpaint, and analytics platforms
• HIPAA Compliance knowledge
