About the Role

Temper And Forge is hiring a Search Marketing Strategist to lead and scale integrated SEO and paid media campaigns across a growing portfolio of clients. This hybrid role based in the Seattle, WA area is ideal for a strategic operator who understands how SEO, paid media, analytics, conversion strategy, and website performance work together to drive measurable business outcomes. You'll thrive in this position if you enjoy both high-level strategy and hands-on execution while working within a close, high-performing team focused on quality client partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated SEO and paid media strategies across multiple client accounts
• Lead keyword research, content planning, on-page optimization, and technical SEO recommendations
• Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns including search, remarketing, and Performance Max
• Monitor campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations based on data and business goals
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and content teams to improve search visibility and conversion performance
• Support landing page strategy and conversion optimization efforts
• Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and performance summaries
• Monitor analytics, attribution, Search Console, and tracking implementation
• Participate in client meetings and ongoing marketing strategy discussions

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in SEO, paid media, or integrated digital marketing
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, content SEO, and search strategy
• Experience managing Google Ads campaigns and budgets
• Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking
• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to interpret performance data and communicate insights clearly
• Experience working in an agency or multi-client environment
• Must be located in or near Seattle, WA and available for periodic in-person collaboration and meetings

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, or modern CMS platforms
• Experience with AI search trends and evolving SEO landscape
• Background in conversion optimization and landing page strategy
