About the Role

Civitas Agency is seeking a highly talented Senior Graphic Designer to join their creative team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you'll design and develop visually stunning, user-centric websites using Webflow, create captivating social media content, and craft innovative advertising campaigns for high-impact clients. The ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Nashville Region with flexibility to work remotely, though in-person collaboration at the Downtown Nashville office and client locations is required. Hiring is based on talent and portfolio—not years of experience alone.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and execute visually appealing websites in Webflow and Figma that align with client goals and brand guidelines
• Develop user-centric website experiences by applying UX principles, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, and prototyping
• Create engaging static images and animations for social media platforms that align with brand visual identity and campaign objectives
• Prepare advertising campaigns including ad visuals, banners, and promotional materials that effectively communicate brand messaging
• Develop logo designs and comprehensive brand identity systems that differentiate clients and resonate with target audiences
• Present design concepts and strategies to clients, articulating the rationale behind design decisions and addressing feedback
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative concepts and campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer engagement
• Ensure all design deliverables meet project timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements

Requirements

• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing exceptional website design projects that highlight your ability to create visually engaging and user-friendly experiences
• Proficiency in UX design principles, methodologies, and best practices, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, and prototyping
• Extensive experience with Webflow, Figma, WordPress, and a deep understanding of their capabilities and limitations
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Strong visual design skills, including layout composition, typography, color theory, and iconography
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to both internal teams and clients
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel in-state and out-of-state and ability to comfortably interact with elected officials and local government representatives
