About the Role

Nielsen is seeking a Senior Manager, Website Experience & Optimization to lead storytelling and digital experience efforts on Nielsen.com and transform the company's web marketing operations. Operating at the center of Nielsen's digital ecosystem, you'll bridge creative, data, and user experience to optimize every digital touchpoint for demand capture and conversion. Reporting to the Director of Website Strategy, this role is perfect for a hands-on, fast-moving professional who balances creative vision with performance instinct and thrives in a rapid testing and iteration environment across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end web content strategy for Nielsen.com, upholding narrative consistency and editorial standards aligned with Nielsen's brand voice
  • Lead user journey mapping and design clear conversion paths to strategically place high-value assets and tools that maximize Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) volume
  • Co-own Information Architecture (IA), site map, and navigational structure with Marketing Ops and SEO teams to ensure content discoverability and optimization for SEO, GEO, AIO, and AEO
  • Manage A/B testing processes, tools, and analytics to foster a test-and-learn environment, optimizing landing pages, CTAs, heatmaps, bounce rates, and conversion flows
  • Co-own comprehensive website reporting and KPI tracking in partnership with Analytics and Data Science teams, establishing clear benchmarks for success and sharing insights across marketing teams
  • Serve as strategic lead for web marketing operations, collaborating with Program Management, MarTech, WebDev, Creative, Data Science, and UX teams to build cohesive digital experiences
  • Act as primary bridge between Demand Generation and Web Development teams, translating marketing requirements into functional requirements for implementation
  • Build and maintain centralized website content calendar in partnership with WebOps teams to support demand capture, campaigns, and unplanned work
  • Manage project-based external agency partnerships by briefing clearly, reviewing critically, and ensuring all external creative meets Nielsen's quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in website experience management, conversion rate optimization (CRO), or digital marketing leadership
  • Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design principles, information architecture, and web performance optimization
  • Demonstrated expertise with A/B testing, analytics tools, and data-driven decision making
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with creative, technical, and marketing operations teams
  • Excellent content strategy and storytelling skills with ability to simplify complex product concepts for web audiences
  • Proficiency in web analytics, SEO optimization, and Webflow or similar web platforms is a plus
