About the Role

Tiger Tracks is hiring a Senior Web & CRO Lead to own the website as a conversion channel—managing both the technical build and experimentation program that drives page conversions. This hands-on craft role focuses on conversion rate optimization and web development, not management. You'll work in WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, VWO, GTM, GA4, Figma, and Claude, while also presenting findings to enterprise clients and defending recommendations to marketing leaders. This is the ideal role for a technical builder and tester who wants to carry real client accounts while shipping quality work at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own technical WordPress builds including custom PHP templates, ACF blocks, Elementor, theme updates, and documented staging-to-production rollouts
• Optimize Shopify storefronts (PDPs, checkout, Recharge subscription flows) and build hand-coded HTML, CSS, and JS landing pages
• Work across multiple CMS platforms including Webflow, Squarespace, and HubSpot CMS, including gated asset builds and scaled page programs
• Design in Figma: wireframes, mockups, mobile-first UX, and reusable component libraries
• Execute the full test lifecycle: hypothesis development, variant builds, QA, GA4 goal wiring, statistical rigor, readouts, and learning documentation at a cadence of 2-4 tests per month
• Conduct landing page CRO audits, competitive analysis, and optimization including form audits, heatmaps, and session recordings
• Manage GA4 event design, custom dashboards, GTM governance, consent configuration, and Core Web Vitals optimization
• Present quantified results to clients: annualized projections, pre/post analysis, and incrementality framing

Requirements

• 5+ years in web development and CRO with real depth in both disciplines
• Agency or multi-client background carrying 5+ accounts simultaneously while remaining client-facing
• Technical WordPress expertise (not editor-level), plus VWO or Optimizely and at least one heatmap/session recording tool (Hotjar, FullStory, Contentsquare)
• GA4 and GTM ownership experience, including cleaning up inherited implementations
• Demonstrated testing record with documented results, including unsuccessful tests
• Daily production use of AI tools like Claude and Claude Code for audits, decks, designs, and pages
• Weekly shipping habit with comprehensive QA covering mobile, speed, links, forms, and tracking

Nice to Have

• Technical SEO literacy to prevent breaking organic performance (redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, robots, crawl impact)
• Experience across verticals: telecom/ISP, DTC ecommerce, subscription services, healthcare, home services, or B2B
• Familiarity with client-side stack tools: Northbeam, Iterable, Rudderstack, Mixpanel, HubSpot CRM

Success Metrics

• First 30 days: Audit technical and tracking state across accounts; produce prioritized backlog with effort/impact estimates; ship at least one page or fix per account
• First 60 days: Launch tests on cadence; present a findings readout to a client that resonates
• First 90 days: Own the conversion roadmap for your accounts with quantified results from at least two completed test cycles; become a resource other pods pull into pitches
